But Nashville has continued to impress the division and Saturday's 3-1 victory over the Blues will take away nothing from the Predator's reputation, as the Preds claimed 14 of their last 17 games. The Blues scored only one goal Saturday, and it came from fourth-liner Chris Poter. "We're not exactly blitzing anybody," Blues coach Ken Hitchcock said. "We're finding that one-goal edge. The St. Louis Blues have yet to solve their problems on the road. They fell 3-1 to the Nashville Predators Feb. 4. Martin Erat had a hand in each goal with three points on two assists. The Blues gave up a power play goal in the first period and never recovered.

Pekka Rinne's stellar play in January is spilling over into February. Rinne made 42 saves, and Martin Erat had a goal and two assists to lead the Nashville Predators to a 3-1 win over the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night. The Predators have won six of seven, while the Blues have dropped three of four.
